THE DANCE POINTE IS OPEN & IN PERSON
IN PERSON
Dancers are welcome to attend classes in person! We have created a safe and welcoming space for our faculty and dancers in accordance with CDC guidelines. We are following instruction from the CDC, state of CT and NY and will act in accordingly.
Face masks are required at this time. Proof of vaccination is welcomed for ages 12+ and will be added to your file.
Exposures: We will also follow the CDC in regards to exposure definitions and dancers who can show proof of vaccinations will have shorter possible quarantine times if at all.
STUDIO PROTICALS
Unvaccinated Individuals
If exposed in the classroom at greater than three feet with masking - no quarantine for students (not considered exposed)
Less than three feet will need to quarantine for seven days, test on Day 5 or later, have a negative test submitted to the office, and return on Day 8. If you choose not to test, quarantine for 10 days.
Vaccinated Individuals
For exposure less than 3-6 feet, no quarantine but need to test on Day 5, 6, or 7. and wear a mask for 14 days post-exposure.
FACE COVERINGS
All dancers, staff and faculty must wear their masks at all times! Show your style…wear a mask!
VIRTUAL FLEXIBILITY
Should the CDC change indoor guidelines we are capable to shift to a full remote schedule.
ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
(ages 3-5)
-Arrive and park on the playground side of building ONLY
-Put on your masks
-1 parent or chaperone per dancer ONLY
-Walk to door for a temperature check
-Escort your dancer to class on 2nd floor
-Drop off dancer and continue down the hallway to EXIT on the other side of the building
- Dancers will use hand sanitizer before and after class
-Pick up will be on the OPPOSITE side of the building
-Dancers will be escorted down by their teachers
-Please wait by your car until your dancer is on the steps, then come to pick up..IN YOUR MASK:)
ENTRANCE
All dancers, staff and faculty must enter on the playground side of building.
PARENT PORATL
This service will allow you to:
- View your student's classes
- pay outstanding balances
- sign any necessary documents
- download performance music!
ALL STYLES, LEVEL AND COMPANY DANCERS ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
(ages 6+)
-Arrive and park on the playground side of building ONLY
-Put on your masks
-Walk to door for a temperature check
-Once cleared of temperature check continue to 2nd floor
-Please walk directly to your class (you will be told the first day which studio you are in)
- Dancers will use hand sanitizer before and after class
-Change shoes once INSIDE your studio
-Dancers will be dismissed one at a time and will walk down the hallway to EXIT on the other side of the building
-Pick up will be on the OPPOSITE side of the building
-Dancers will be escorted down by their teachers
-Please wait by your car until your dancer is on the steps, we will send the dancers to you
*Dancers with more than one class will wait until their room has been cleaned then change studios or will be directed to our socially distanced "waiting room".
HAND SANITIZER STATIONS
Hand sanitizing stations have been placed at the entrance to every studio and dancers/faculty are required to use them upon arrival and dismissal.
EXIT
All dancers, staff and faculty must exit on the opposite side of the building from which they entered.
