She began dance lessons at Creative Dance Arts at age three, along with her twin sister Cat, older sister Lindsay, and four of her girl cousins. Creative Dance Arts became Aliza's home after fifteen years of learning all styles, tap being her favorite. She was trained under a Rockette in Tap and Jazz making the Broadway style one of her strengths. Aliza was sad to leave Creative Dance Arts, as she began her next chapter at Purchase College where she studied Painting and Drawing in the Visual Arts Conservatory. Aliza and her twin sister Cat had a large studio during their junior and senior year where they became a collaborative painting team. Together they make largescale abstract paintings and continue to pursue their careers as artists. Their background in dance plays a major role in their paintings since painting and dance have a lot in common; they are rhythmic, directed, active, expressive, and alive.
