Mission:
This scholarship honors Miss Kendall’s unwavering commitment to ballet technique, musicality and mentorship. Her influence has shaped the technical foundation of TDP dancers for over a decade both here and overseas during the International Summer Dance Tour.
Awarded to:
One dancer (ages 8-12) who demonstrates a serious commitment to ballet, personal growth, and discipline in the classroom.
Application:
Short essay: “What has ballet taught you—about dance, and about yourself?”
Award Use:
Tuition credit for annual tuition or private coaching.
Amount: $800.00
The Kristine Macdonald Powerhouse Performer Scholarship
Celebrating 10 Years at The Dance Pointe
Mission:
Created in honor of Kristine Macdonald’s tenth incredible season at The Dance Pointe, this scholarship celebrates a teacher whose fierce passion, technical mastery, and choreography have transformed countless dancers. Known for her strength in jazz, hip hop, and acro—and her ability to shape powerful, polished performers—Kristine’s impact extends beyond the studio. This scholarship honors dancers who share her discipline, drive, and love for performance.

The Kristine Macdonald Powerhouse Performer Scholarship
Awarded to:
Performance Excellence: Open to intermediate/advanced dancers (ages 12–18) who demonstrate strength in jazz, hip hop, or acro. Applicants must be actively enrolled in these styles.
Technical Growth & Drive: Candidates must submit a short essay (300–500 words) reflecting on their personal growth in technique, what they’ve learned through disciplined training, and how dance has shaped their identity.
Award Use:
Tuition credit for annual tuition or private coaching.
Amount: $800.00
