COSTUME INSTRUCTIONS

Costumes

  • Hang your costume(s) in the provided garment bag to prevent wrinkles and damage.

  • If you have multiple costumes, label each costume with your dancer's name.

  • Do not pack extra items (they may get lost).

  • Have your dancer change into their dance shoes right before drop-off on dress rehearsal/performance day.

  • No jewelry or temporary tattoos allowed.

  • If you have multiple quick changes, please purchase a skin-colored leotard. Link for reference.

Makeup

  • Pre-K & Kindergarten:

    • Blush

    • Red Lipstick

    • Eyeshadow (any color)

    • Foundation & Mascara are optional

  • 1st Grade & Up:

    • Foundation

    • Blush

    • Red Lipstick

    • Eyeshadow (any color)

    • Mascara

Hair

  • All hairstyles should be slicked back with no flyaways – use hairspray.

  • Use a hair elastic matching the dancer’s hair color.

  • Use BUN PINS, not bobby pins, for buns.

  • Any clips/fascinators are set on the right side

  • Any ponytail accessories go around the ponytail.
