COMPETITION DAY
COMPETITION ARRIVAL NOTES
Dancers are to arrive 90 minutes prior to their scheduled time, they often run out of order or ahead of time.
Dancers are to check in with Miss Melissa immediately upon arrival.
A dressing room will be marked with The Dance Pointe
HAIR: ALL dancers, ALL dances: middle part, slicked back low bun
All costumes HUNG in costume bag or roller bag
Makeup | Red lip stain
Extra tights
Warm up outfit
Team Jacket
Hair Spray
Elastics in YOUR HAIR COLOR
Brush
Safety pins
Bun Pins
Water & snacks
Cozy socks or slippers

Arrive with hair and makeup done, costumes hung, team jacket and sweatpants
SPORTMANSHIP & CONDUCt
Parents and dancers, please be courteous and considerate to all dance teams and individuals. Please don’t speak negatively about any dancer, decision, or result. We strive to teach our dancers respect and sportsmanship! Anyone who behaves inappropriately in our studio or at a competition/performance may be asked to leave our program. We are trying to create a positive learning environment for our dancers.
On and off the stage dancers and parents are representatives of The Dance Pointe.
NO photography or video of any kind we will be disqualified
Dancers are to stay for the award ceremony in their category and be wearing team jackets.
Please come support other dancers throughout the weekend.
Parents are encouraged to sport dance pointe spirit wear.
Cheer, cheer cheer and have fun watching all the work come to life!
