This class is a great introduction to dance studio life. Our two year old classes are based on classical ballet terminology, incorporate varied musical rhythms, coordination exercises and dance games. Our "Tiny Tots" classes are structured to allow children to take once a week without the pressure of participating in the end of year performance.
This class is designed for our first & second-year/pre-school dancers who want to express their independence without the assistance of mom or dad. Dancers will enjoy learning pre-ballet movement and terminology to both classical and popular children's music. Class sizes are kept small to ensure individual attention.
Our Kindergarten program offers classes in: Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop for the young dancer wanting to focus on each technique. Classes are also offerd a la carte.
Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. Our experienced acro instructors will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. These classes focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance and contortion tricks, all each student's individual level of experience. BALLET IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED FOR ACRO LEVELS 2 AND ABOVE. Any class with an (*) indicates a second year class.
